Abstract:

در بدن یک انسان بیش از ۳۰ میلیارد سلول به گونه ای در کنار یکدیگر جای گرفته اند که عملکرد بهینه کل مجموعه به بهترین شیوه تضمین گردد. تقسیم سلولهای طبیعی و تولید سلولهای جدید، تنها در شرایطی صورت می گیرد که از یک سو جایگزینی سلولهای جدید به دلایلی نظیر مرگ سلولهای پیر و یا آسیب سلولهای قدیمی ضرورت داشته باشد و از سوی دیگر دستور آغاز تقسیم توسط سلولهای مجاور به یک سلول ابلاغ گردد. یک سلول سرطانی اغلب در شرایطی که هیچ نیازی به تولید سلول جدید نمی باشد، روند تقسیم را آغاز کرده و بدون توجه به دستورات ابلاغ شده و مکانیسم های مهاری اغلب به این تکروی ادامه می دهد و توده ای از سلولهای سرطانی در حال تقسیم شکل می گیرد که این توده سرطانی با ترشح موادی به داخل بدن و یا فشار به اعضای مجاور، موجب اختلالات عظیمی در بدن می شود
